Managers Role

Thankyou for becoming a Team Manager with Kangaroos Basketball!

The Manager role is to support the coach, looking after the administrative and organisational components of the day to day running of the team and communications with parents.  

Compliance:

• KKBC Registration. KKBC Registration (select the option for ‘KKBC Volunteer’)
• Working With Children Check (WWCC). Apply for your WWCC WWCC here
• Play By The Rules. Play By The Rules
• BNSW Registration. Register here (select the option ‘Volunteer’)

Access:

• Once registered with us and added to the team as ‘Team Manager’ you will be able to view all player contact details. How to login is here: KKBC Coach & Manager login instructions

Tasks:

• Set up a WhatsApp group for the team parents.
• Send weekly reminders to the group (via WhatsApp) on game details and training. Please be sure to check these on the draw regularly as changes may occur.
• Roster families to score on bench at games each week
• Follow up players to see if they have ordered their uniform
• Pass on any information to the team as required
• Advise HKBA of any forfeits or fill in players in a timely manner Forfeits and Fill in's
