Kuringgai Kangaroo's Basketball Club

Kangahoops

Kangahoops is an initiative of Kuringgai Kangaroos Basketball Club to introduce basketball to primary school age children

Kangahoops Junior Basketball Program

The Kuringgai Kangaroos Junior Basketball Program provides a fun, supportive and progressive introduction to basketball for children aged 5–11 years.

Our beginner program is designed to help young players learn the fundamentals of the game — dribbling, passing, shooting and movement — while also discovering what it means to be part of a team. Most importantly, we create an environment where kids feel welcome, build confidence, make friends and enjoy being active.

For Girls & Boys!

At Kuringgai Kangaroos, we are proud to provide equal and inclusive pathways for both girls and boys. Our club reflects this commitment, with an even 50/50 split of female and male players, and strong participation across both all-girls and all-boys teams. We are passionate about creating an environment where every child feels welcomed, supported and empowered to grow through basketball.
